These terms cover maliko.ca and purchases made from Maliko Labs Inc. Each product also has its own terms, which you accept inside the product, and those govern how you use it.

Who we are

Maliko Labs Inc. is a software company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us at contact@maliko.ca.

Maliko Labs Inc. operates this website and every product listed on it. If we ever put a product under a separate company, that product’s own terms will say which company you’re dealing with, and it won’t be a surprise buried here.

Using this website

You’re welcome to read, link to and share anything on this site. The Maliko and EvenHearth names, logos and screenshots belong to Maliko Labs Inc. Please don’t use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your work.

We try to keep this site accurate. Where it describes a product that’s still in development, what’s described can change before release.

Buying from us

Reading this site is open to anyone. To buy from us you need to be the age of majority where you live, which is 19 in British Columbia, and you need to be buying for yourself rather than on someone else’s behalf.

When you buy a subscription from us on the web:

• The price, currency (CAD) and billing period are shown before you pay.
• Payment is processed by Stripe.
• Your subscription renews until you cancel it.
• You can cancel at any time by emailing contact@maliko.ca. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
• The product’s own terms govern how you use the product.

Purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store are between you and that store, and follow its terms.

Trademarks

Maliko Labs and EvenHearth, and their logos, are trademarks of Maliko Labs Inc.

Android and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. The Android robot is reproduced or modified from work created and shared by Google and used according to terms described in the Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution License. Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. IOS is a trademark or registered trademark of Cisco in the U.S. and other countries and is used under license. Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and Firefox are trademarks of their respective owners. Naming a platform or browser here doesn’t mean its owner endorses Maliko Labs or EvenHearth.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, this website is provided as it is, and Maliko Labs Inc. isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be limited by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia are where a dispute about them gets decided.

We don’t ask you to give up the right to go to court, and there’s no arbitration clause and no class action waiver in these terms. If you’re a consumer, your provincial consumer protection law may also let you bring a claim where you live, and nothing here takes that away.

If part of this doesn’t hold

If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, that part comes out and the rest still stands.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change matters to something you’ve already paid for, we’ll email you about it rather than rely on you noticing the date.
