EvenHearth is open, by invitation

The web app is live at evenhearth.com. For now you need an invitation to make an account, while we test it with real households.

EvenHearth is live at evenhearth.com. Making an account takes an invitation for now.

A shared ledger is only worth keeping if its numbers are right. We’d rather find our mistakes with a few households who tell us about them than with everyone at once, so we’re letting people in a few at a time.

What works today

You make a household and invite the people you live with. A purchase goes in from a photo of the receipt or from the keypad, and each line can go to one person, to the household split, or to a split of its own. When the month ends, EvenHearth shows who owes whom, and records the payment once you’ve settled up.

Trips and projects run on their own ledgers, with their own budgets, so a renovation or a long weekend stays out of the month. The whole app works in English and in French.

What doesn’t yet

For now it’s the web app. The Android app is in testing, and iOS comes after it. EvenHearth doesn’t connect to your bank, and it doesn’t move money: you pay each other however you already do, and it keeps the record.

Plans

There’s a free plan, and there’s EvenHearth Plus. The prices, the terms and the refund policy are on evenhearth.com, and Maliko Labs Inc. is the company you buy from.

Getting in

Email contact@maliko.ca and tell us a little about your household. Once you’re in, anything that looks wrong is two taps from a report, on any screen.
